An international institution of Grand Lodges and Supreme Councils.
The Universal Masonic Institute — the Institution Maçonnique Universelle — is an
international collegial body uniting Grand Lodges and Supreme Councils in fraternal relations. Its
Bureau Mondial directs the institution, and its Collegiale Internationale seats Commissioners on
Regularity for the nations of its communion — among them El Salvador, Argentina, Haiti, America, Brazil,
Mexico, Italy, the Philippines, Lebanon, Chile and Syria — each charged with the regularity of the
Orders in his own country and the fraternal relations between them.
